Seems appropriate to include our trip plans...so here's where we are so far!!

For those that interested here are as many details as I have about the Key West Trip/Big Swim weekend...

Who's coming (including where staying and length of stay)

8. Cody (Jon's 9?? year old son) (swim hotel Fri - Sun?)

THURSDAY, JUNE 14TH

**Dianne, Dave, Dad, Aunt Sue, Georgia, Brandy, Jan and Carissa (and maybe Sonya?) will be arriving in Plantation on Thursday evening to meet up with
Jenny, Eric and girls and to eat at Su-Shin (yet another link)

**The Sushi crew will be spending the night at "Casa De Stern" (and aren't you two sorry you agreed to such shenanegins!!) (directions forthcoming!)

FRIDAY, JUNE 15TH
**Dianne and Dave will head straight to the rental house on Friday for early check-in.
** Dad, Jan and crew will most likely take their time getting down to Key West.

**The swimmers have a mandatory pre-race meeting on Friday from 6-8pm

SATURDAY JUNE 16TH

You are cordially invited to join us on the beach for an early morning send off...those of you that are not swimming or boating will be on your own for the afternoon!! (I know you already know this...but just figured I should point it out!) We will arrange for communication via the coconut telegraph when swimmers are on the "homestretch" so that you have time to return to Smather's Beach to provide appropriate cheering, beverages and other first aid!! Some photographers at the finish would be fabulous as well...my personal photographer will still be on said support boat!! :>)

There is a post-race party at Schooner's Wharf to be started when last swimmer has exited the water. Details are forthcoming...all are welcome...most likely a cash bar.

SUNDAY JUNE 17th through your departure:

Sunday is Father's Day...so if you are blessed enough to still have Dad in your life make sure you've sent a card or plan to call Pops this day!!! :>)

**There are a variety of activities available in Key West...everything from sitting on your bum on the beach, water sports, bar hopping, window shopping and other "touristy traps".

Currently there are no other plans for ANYTHING while we are all in Key West. It's possible we will get together for a meal or two...or barhopping...boating...site seeing...etc! Those that are staying in the rental house...there is a full kitchen (obviously) so you may want to consider bringing food, beverages, alcohol for your stay...the closer to Key West the more expensive the grub (including at the grocery stores) so be prepared!!

I am so very honored to have so many folks heading down to Key West for the swim. I'm sure Jon, Bonnie and Nicole will appreciate having some extra "cheering power" in their corner as well! I am looking forward to seeing all of you!
